GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Tayco Engineering, Inc. Model 6975 is a Manifold Assembly designed to heat air flow stream on the Space Station. The heated air is used to regenerate the carbon dioxide absorption package that astronauts use on extra vehicular activities. The manifold has replaceable heaters and temperature sensors. The heat transfer is highly efficient with a very low pressure drop.
